Mission
Our Vision
At U-RISE, we aim to empower communities by facilitating sustainability programs and enhancing educational resources. Our projects emphasize skills development and self-sufficiency.
Roots of Resilience: Stories of Growth and Restoration
“Roots of Resilience” is a curated portfolio of U-RISE’s most impactful sustainable development and education initiatives in Northern Uganda. These stories highlight our grassroots approach to empowering communities through reforestation, agroforestry, youth education, and climate-smart farming. From restoring land lost to fire, to reimagining fencing with renewable resources, to keeping refugee children like Kiden in school—each story reflects our unwavering belief in people-centered development. In partnership with families, local leaders, and technical allies like MK Forestry Services, we are planting both literal and metaphorical seeds of resilience across Adjumani District.
